The Christmas Cookie exchange will still take place on Dec 13th at the pavilion, however, I have to push the time back due to other obligations that day.  The new time will be 3 –  4:30.  Hopefully the weather will allow us to have this fun event!

Bake some cookies to share with your neighbors. Take home containers will be provided. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.

Hope to see  you there!

happy-fall-yall-1

As I sit here on Monday, August 25th, contemplating the upcoming Labor Day  weekend, I’m saddened that the end of summer is almost here and that my almost every weekend trips to the lake are coming to an end, but I look forward to being there several weekends during the fall to enjoy the weather and fall colors. I’m excited that the Board completed so much of their work on the policies and procedures for the Bluewater community. These will be posted to the Bluewater website – www.bluewaterlakeanna.com. By the time you receive this newsletter, they may already be posted.

Property Owners Association – and Sonia Woolf, our webmaster, will let you know when these policies and procedures are up on the website. If you don’t have the password for the “Owners Only” section, let me know by email and I’ll send it to you. If you would like copies before they’re posted, let me know and I’ll send them via email. If you need a hard copy sent via the U.S. Postal Service, there will be a charge. I will also let my personal email list of owners know when they are posted as well.

My personal email list of homeowners receives urgent notices and email copies of the minutes plus whatever else I think is important for them to know. If you would like to be added to my list, email me at druffm@comcast.net and I’ll add you to the blind carbon copy list of owners who are kept up to date on the “happenings” in Bluewater, both the good and the not-so-good.

Be sure to check the new directory to make sure your info is correct. If not, notify me or Ann Bolden and we’ll get the correct info out to everyone on my email list.

Enjoy the upcoming holiday season, but take time out for yourself.

Happy Autumn to everyone.

Melissa Druff—President

happy-4th-of-july-2012-fireworks-flag-usa

If you’re planning on being at the lake this long weekend, your BPOA Board urges you to fly the flag if you have one.

Also a reminder that the fireworks show begins at 9:30 PM at Dike Two on the lake. That’s the dike closest to the dam. Be careful if you go by boat and remember to use your running lights.

FamilyFun

On July 19th at 7pm, join your neighbors for a night of fun.  Board games, karaoke, and snacks!  Hotdogs will also be provided.

Show off your singing skills or play a game of Sorry!

Bring your own beverages.

Please join your neighbors for Bluewater’s Annual Meeting and Picnic on May 17th at 9am at the Bluewater Neighborhood pavilion.

The agenda is almost set, we have a guest speaker and many more surprises await you….so we early anticipate your participation in the event.

The picnic will follow the annual meeting.  Bluewater will be supplying the main dish, beverages (of the non-alcoholic variety) and the dessert.  We ask that our neighbors bring a side dish to share and if you want your alcohol you are welcome to bring that as well.

We do have some new picnic tables at the pavilion, however, you still may want to bring a chair with you.

We look forward to seeing you!
